A tech pack is the blueprint that turns your design into a producible garment. Without one, every quote you receive is a guess.
What a tech pack contains
- Technical flats — front, back and detail views
- Measurement chart — graded spec per size with tolerance
- Bill of materials — fabric, trims, threads, labels with suppliers
- Artwork placement — print/embroidery positions and sizes
- Construction notes — stitching, seam types, finishing
- Packaging spec — folding, polybag, carton marks
Why factories insist on it
A complete tech pack cuts sampling rounds from three to one and removes most quality disputes. It is the single biggest cost lever you control before bulk production — our how it works guide shows where it sits in the workflow.
No tech pack yet?
Many brands start with only sketches or reference photos. A manufacturer with in-house pattern makers can build the tech pack for you — our streetwear manufacturing team regularly converts moodboards into production-ready specs. Expect a small development fee, refunded against bulk orders by most serious factories.
Quick quality check
If a stranger can produce your garment without asking you a single question, your tech pack is complete.
